been waiting for this day to come

Last night I went out with Amanda and Marc to use our drink passes from the night before. But the night started out a bit weird for me. I saw Her arrive the same time I did. Amanda saw too. We figured we were safe since Jodi wasn't with. I wasn't sure what I should do. I think Amanda knew I was feeling weird. It was agreed that I wouldn't try to talk to Her unless she recognized Amanda and came by.

The evening was going by fine. We played some darts and talked to a few people here and there. But then I ended up in the bathroom alone with Her and wanted to say something...but didn't. Besides, what WOULD I actually say to Her? " Hi, I know you but you don't know me. Hows it going?" Then, when I was up at the bar refilling my drink, She ends up over by Amanda. UGH! I am sure to have to be introduced to Her. So I tried my best to look cool and stood next to Amanda while they finished up their conversation. This is it, She's gonna say something and Amanda's gonna have to tell Her who I am. But... then She walks away. :: blink, blink:: What just happened? I gave Amanda a quizzical look. She had just recognized Amanda and was asking how Jodi was. If She did notice me, She just didn't care cause Amanda didn't say anything about who I was I guess. I have to say, that made me a bit relieved. I wasn't sure what I would have said even if Amanda had said, " Oh by the way, this is me and Jodi's friend Sarah." It all would have hit the fan then.

:; sigh:: Not sure if that is a good one or bad one there. I've always figured this day would come and I'm not sure I like it. Feels weird
